FACTS ABOUT DUCT CLEANING
- We will answer your questions about humidifiers, filters, and air duct cleaning. Learn what it takes to provide a healthy living environment for your family.
- The average person spends about 90% of his/her time indoors. Filthy air ducts blow bacteria fungi, mold, pollen, and other disease causing spores into your living environment…morning, noon, and night.
- There’s a high concentration of allergens in all air duct systems, because you’re indoors 90% of the time, you’re exposed to them for a major portion of your day.
- The first step in controlling any allergy is avoidance, and for a majority of allergy sufferers, dirt and dust is the culprit. We are exposed to dust all year long, but the duration is higher in the winter for people with forced air heating – and even worse for those with forced air heating and cooling.
- Regular cleaning maintenance of these systems is recommended by the American Lung Association and other leading health experts and medical authorities. Cleaning and treating of the air duct systems (source removal) is recommended, and when done on a regular basis, will help alleviate the allergy sufferer’s problem and help deter the growth of microorganisms.

SIX-STEP PROCEDURE FOR DUCT CLEANING
- We attach and 8” vacuum line onto your supply and return ducts. Our vacuum source pulls 6,500 CFM’s of air through your system and into our exterior capture compartments.
- Using pneumatics, (175 psi of air pressure), we will access your duct work with our air tools and dislodgers to assure complete source removal.
- Source removal starts on the supply side, at the furthest point and ends at the closest point to our vacuum source. First we clean your registers with our air guns, then your runs, and your ducts with our dislodgers. After we are finished on the supply side we repeat the exact procedure on the return side of the system.
- We then clean your supply and return plenums, your blower motor, and blower compartment.
- Upon the customers request, we will disinfect the system with Envirocon, a chlorine based disinfectant. There is no additional charge for this service.
- Finally, all air gun and dislodger access areas are sealed with specially designed gasketed plugs. Both vacuum areas are sealed with sheet metal, zip screws, and metal duct tape.
We believe that indoor air quality is a serious problem.
The six-step method has been developed to rid your home of the ills that lie inside your duct work. We suggest that you take the time to review all of the options for a safe, clean air home. Talk to us about filters, humidifiers, and maintenance contracts.
